Welcome, new and returning Readathon Schools! We’re glad you’re on board to have fun online and curl up with some good books!

Student Information

  • Click the link above for instructions on how to enter your minutes read into a Bookopolis Reading Log
  • Fill out the Opt-in Form to receive a username & password for your Bookopolis account (Please allow 48 hours during the work week to receive your account info)
  • Read as many minutes as you can from Feb 1 – Feb 28.
  • Enter minutes read in the online reading log during the  Readathon. The deadline is February 28th at 11:59pm CST.
  • You can participate in the Challenges for pop up prizes.

Librarian & Teacher Game Plan for Student Readers

  • Spread the word about the Readathon to students and families.
  • Readathon staff will deliver promotional materials and tshirts to the school for participating students. 
  • Encourage students to make their reading list and share book reviews using the Bookopolis website. 
  • Readers must log their minutes to be eligible for prizes – parents, librarians and teachers can help.
  • Set goals with students and encourage them to hit their goals. 
  • Messages of support from BookSpring will be sent to students throughout the Readathon. 
  • Prizes for top fundraisers and top readers can be found here. 
  • Mark your calendars for the Readathon Celebration Event – March 5th.
