Q. What is the Family Readathon?

The Family Readathon is a motivational literacy program fueled by readers of all ages through the power of reading and reaching out to family and friends for support so that other kids can have their very own books. In Central Texas, less than 52% of families have 20 or more children’s books at home. Children growing up with 20 or more books are three times more likely to succeed in school and in life.

Q. Why donate?

Some kids don’t have enough books at home to read. You can change that! Your gifts help bring the joy of reading to thousands of children. In addition, fundraising participants, participating schools, and readers are all eligible for exciting prizes. Help us cheer on readers who are doing good while competing for top places!
